ABC UNDERGRIND

The past six months I've been working alongside a team to build a safe space for artist, poets & creatives alike to express themselves artistically and verbally — The Undergrind.

This performance and interview by Kyla Ugwu epitomizes the event which takes place each Wednesday, 7-10pm at Atlanta Breakfast Club Chicken and Waffles Nitro Coffee Counter (340 Auburn Ave.)

 

Unlike most open mics where artist perform, give their social media handles and exit stage right, I interview artist following their performance which allows the audience to connect with them on a more intimate level.

Each event includes a live band, light refreshments and a welcoming environment for all to come and enjoy a night of music and high vibrations.
