"Panama Papi" — Julien Virgin's Film Debut

For his 27th birthday, Julien Virgin traveled to the country of Panama -- solo dolo -- not for a vacation but for an exploration, while documenting the process. Shot entirely on his iPhone 8, film highlights his adventures, experiences and people he met along the way in this Central American paradise.

The goal was to discover whether the energy he exudes in Atlanta could be translated to a different country with a new language, culture and people. He achieved his goal and became a filmmaker in the process.

The 29-minute film shot, edited, directed and experienced by Julien Virgin, includes a robust soundtrack from some of Julien’s favorite artist and producers (SEE BELOW).

On Tuesday, March 29th, more than 75 family members, friends and acquaintances gathered at Atlanta Breakfast Club’s Backyard Cinema for the premiere of “Panama Papi”. Check out the entire photo gallery below.
